Lea Laven, nee Luukinen, is a Finnish singer and song maker, who became famous specially in the 1970s. Lea Laven is known for her specially delicate and strong interpretations and her ability to combine different types of music, such as pop, rock and blues.

The breakthrough of Lea Laven was in the 1970s her being one of the most popular female artists at the time . She is known for songs as ”Ei oo, ei tuu”, ”Tumma nainen”, ”Rotunainen”, ”Kortit kertoo kohtalomme” and ”Aamulla rakkaani näin”. Her career has been long and diverse. She has published several albums and has had a huge number of gigs both in Finland and abroad.

Lea Laven´s music and strong performances have made her a highly considered and beloved artist in Finland, and her effect on the Finnish musical culture is considerable.

The legendary stars Lea Laven, Marion Rung, Kai Hyttinen, and Markku Aro were touring in concert halls in 2023-24 with a name ”Together”.The concerts were a real success story, which is going to be continued in 2025.
